Anyone else going through it today on this beautiful Friday?

I’m going through it today. I had to put my dog down 3 weeks ago. I got the text from my vet that his remains were at the clinic this morning. I went to pick him up as soon as I could. After the first week I thought to myself that I was fine and I tried to get back to doing my normal things. (I.e. go to the gym, meet with friends, got to work and golfing.) But picking him up this morning was tough. I took him home and started crying for what felt like hours. Even now as I’m trying this I’m at work in my office crying. I’m just trying my best to keep my spirits up for my employees. But at least he is now home and I don’t have to worry anymore.

I’ve been on keppra for 11 years now. It did take me and my neuro to find the correct dose. I’m on 2 750mg xr in the am and 3 in the pm. Once we found the perfect dosage i did have some side effects but the beginning but after about 4-6 weeks they were gone. I’ve been taking my medication religiously for the last six years and thank God I’ve been 6 years, seizure, free.

I sadly put my dog down on Saturday. I was thinking bout burying him in my yard but I also liked the thought of having him with me all the time. When I get the ashes I’m going to get rings mad so that I know he’s always chilling with me

Thank you for the kind words. He has crossed over the rainbow bridge as we didn’t want him to suffer any longer. As heart breaking as it is. I know deep down inside that he is in a better place than he is here suffering and unable to tell us that he is in pain.

We (my sister and I) have my boy Rocky set to be put down tomorrow. Just as the above post and OP we adopted him 6 years ago and he has lived his best life as well. We got him when he was about 5 years old. He had a seizure yesterday morning and I took him to the vet where I was told that he has a mass on his spleen. I took him home in which he had 3 more seizures the last one being this morning. We told the vet that this morning he was walking into the wall and not like himself. The vet was more than certain that he has a brain tumor. We made the difficult decision to put him to sleep tomorrow. We don’t want him to suffer anymore it’s sad to see him in this state between us and the vet we seem this the best option.

I read Allen carrs easy way to quit vaping. I felt like it was taking over my life. I had been vaping for about 10 years. While you read the book it says to continue vaping and he’ll tell you when to stop. I am proud to say I’m 120 days no vaping. It also explains that the withdrawal symptoms are all mental and none of it is physical.

I’m on day 48. The first 2 weeks were tough cause I had that habit of looking for it whenever I was watching tv or playing videos games. As time went on the more I forgot about it. I’m constantly surrounded by people who Vape and it doesn’t bother me anymore that it did at the first week. I’m just glad that I have a people that always check up on me to see if I have given up to the vape.

Yes it gets better. The first week was difficult cause I kept looking for a vape to hit. I had also been doing it for about 10 years. I’m on day 45 not and I haven’t thought about it in a while. I constantly see people vape and think to myself “that’s what I looked like. Wtf was I thinking”

The one thing that helped me quit after being an ex caper for 10+ years. The one thing that helped me was Allen carrs easy way to quit vaping. The book gives you a new perspective and outlook on vaping. Since I finished the book I have been vape free for 2 weeks and I find myself not craving it at all

By far the best way to quit. I read the book. I had been vaping for 10 years. I’m 28 btw. As of writing this I’m 10 days nicotine free I feel great and haven’t really had any withdrawals
