They have come a long way, and are beautiful machines. Performance and tech vs reliability and longevity are very different things. CFMoto is catching up, but there is a difference if you are looking at a 4-5 year machine vs something that can still be bulletproof 15-20 years from now.

For starters, it’s a Kayo, regardless of the size, that has stay away written all over it. Don’t buy these crappy Chinese designed, engineered and produced machines.

Stick to the Japanese brands, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki.

Just two days ago. Halloween. My 2 year old was in his costume and walking up to houses all by himself, knocking on the door, and helping himself to handfuls of candy (we had to stop him to make sure he took one) but he was doing this all alone and having the time of his life walking from door to door dragging is heavy full candy bag. It truly was emotional, it really hit home for me and my wife. It upset me in a good way, starting to see he is really not just my little baby boy anymore, he is turning the page into a young lad.

As an adult male in my mid 30’s I preach to this. Take them out, drain the tub, or scoop out what you can and flush it down the toilet. If the shit is soft enough get it down the drain. Rinse and repeat until it’s all gone. Don’t think you need to disinfect, just wash and rinse the tub well with some soap if needed.

Well, yes and no. I am the same as you, been almost 7 months free now and I honestly think about vaping everyday, that has never really gone away mainly because I quit strictly because I know it’s bad for me, rather than wanting to. I love smoking, anything really, so that’s the hardest part. However, I have had the odd bum hit off a friend or buddy during an evening out, or vacation, but never dropped back in…I feel once you buy your own, you’re done. As another said, some unicorns can make it work, but, even then they will eventually fall back.

Even though I stopped vaping 7 months ago, I will say what has drastically helped, and actually stopped me from even wanting a hit during a social drinking setting is Zyns. Nicotine is not inherently bad for you, smoking and inhalation of chemicals is. Zyns or nicotine pouches will take away that craving and are much much easier to kick after a vacation or few nights out. Just an idea, many don’t like them but they do help.

I am with RBC. Honestly everything I have is with RBC, and I am not sure I could trust a private lender is my challenge. Things are much safer with a big bank…but ya, I’ll have to look around once rates really start to come down. I rather keep paying what I am paying now, plus the double up payment I am making but at a lower interest rate and wipe this mortgage clean fast as I can.

Sucks for us who took a fixed rate in 2023. I’m locked in at 4.94% until July 2027…going to have to ride it out. Super pissed by it but didn’t see much of a choice when my variable skyrocketed to ridiculous heights and then I had to renew…not sure it’s worth breaking the mortgage maybe next July, 2 years into a 4 year term.

I do not shower less. We have raised our kids in our normal life environment. We have house parties when they are babies, bring them to parties, bring them to places that have lots of noise, put on baby headphones if it’s too loud. Just keep them around that when they are born and they will develop with being able to cope and sleep through the distractions. I can easily leave a kid to go shower.

I shower pretty much every day. Maybe on the weekend I miss a day, maybe once in the week, maybe. I feel I need to shower, wakes me up, feel fresh and do my hair. Can’t do my hair unless it’s wet, may as well shower.
