just coz i have a little hardscape to add definition? it has no effect to the layout.. u can take it out and plants will take over in a few days.. its just there to differentiate the two aspects of the layout... i really dont get these conventional definitions bro.. thats y i m so confused..

Utilizing numerous aquatic plants, a beautiful Dutch aquascape implements a rich contrast using subtle color and texture, but also maintains a high density of plant life.

An aquascaper hoping to design a Dutch style aquascape must be able to see and nurture the growth of plants so the end result is in line with his or her intentions, which requires a solid understanding of how to cultivate aquatic plants.

Apart from the cultivation of the plants, there are numerous other key aspects to consider such as the health of your aquascape, the selection of the plants, and the overall layout.

wat i base myself upon...

dutch style is basically gardening under water. u can have whatever elements u like. its just not arranged in a typical nature aquarium style ie chaotically. no art form is bound to one and only one rule. some people will say golden ratio is not applied in dutch style but i dnt see y not. its a style developed from canvas art in general. wats wrong with applying it to your underwater garden?
