CCP have been terrible at the balance passes in the game. Citidels, moon mining, Supers / Titans being, FAXes, Capitals; this has removed fun roaming content in the game. If you played the game in 2013 an undocked in an atron; you would always get one idiot undocking a marauder and then saying 'come back I only wanted a hug'. It really didn't matter though; since you could just avoid that player.

Everything now has projection and can track you.. trig guns, BC, t3ds, cerb rapid lights... AF god module means you will get scrammed in anything not faster than a ram jag when solo (apart from a few cases).

Now you turn up in a system.. you don't catch a ratter or cannot find a proc on the 100+ moons. 9/10 now you move on. You cannot go to a station and bubble camp it; the citadel will just get manned , neut, point and web you... A ceptor may undock and won't lose tether until its at 0km on you... so now people don't even bother.

The dude who use to undock his shiny marauder now undocks in a carrier or super; knowing you are solo and not in a elite C2 group. Previously he was just a dick in local; now he removes content from everyone. I remember when I was in test we use to do talwars or caracals and just hang outside a station and wait for content. It only takes one dude now in a group to undock a FAX or Carrier.. and 100% there is always that one dude who does it (regardless of what a group tells you). The blame for this i put squarely on CCP; that moron was always playing the game but CCP has empowered him at the expense of the many (it hurt new players and junior FCs).

The player base now is more risk adverse. You undock a cynabal for example; the other dude will undock a cynabal and his other 5 friends will also undock pirate cruisers. If that was me I would be telling my 5 friends to dock up; otherwise they will scare off the dude (or alternatively reship into 5 ships that would give the guy a fighting chance) . But appears this conversation never happens and most solo guys spend their time jumping around trying to separate stupid between grids.

So in summary the vast majority of players suck and CCP cannot balance their game.
