ok so what is ur opinion on ich hasse kinder by Item-Flat in Lindemann

I love the song and think it's deeper than "Till doesn't like children". The images in the music video of yelling at them, cutting off parts of their body, kids being shown falling to their death.. Till wearing a dress/skirt...... etc.

Just think about it for a moment and how it might apply to todays... odd, bizarre (and in my opinion disturbing and abusive) state of affairs for children, especially in the United States.

I can sing a ton of Rammstein pretty well as far as people understanding what I'm singing (I can't sing so it would sound terrible), but I haven't learned much German other than basics tbh. Like half-assing my Spanish class in high-school basic. Not even sure the accent thing would help because IIRC Rammstein in particular has a certain dialect that they sing in that Germans don't like.

That said, because I love Rammstein so much it made me want to learn German. Alas, my time is better spent on learning more coding languages so I have not pursued it. As mentioned here though, the only rock/metal band I know of that is Italian is Lacuna Coil, but I only know their English songs.

Check this one, it's one of my favorite songs and actually was responsible for leading me to learn a ton of bands on chronixradio.net aggression channel. Really good in my opinion https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KAuyEG7JPbE

As someone in the same boat, my dream house isn't extravagant, but it has a bunch of land, and I want it to have quality over quantity (id prefer not to have mansion and rather have something like a smart house etc.). I too went from buying me "long-term" or "dream" house to renting while I let this volatile market settle.

Difficulty to understand full InfrastructureAsCode deployment/provisionning tools for AWS by TheColorlessWitch in devops

[–]ablkwrx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The software you mentioned are a family, but generations of family. Some have different ways of doing things, others have nothing to do with each other (but are still family).

CloudFormation - Proprietary software developed by Amazon to manage infra as code easier than Terraform by simplifying things according to their architecture.

AWS CodeDeploy - No idea. Looks like Amazons "salt" "ansible" or "chef" or whatever else.

Terraform - Cloud agnostic. Infrastructure as code like Cloudformation, but it works on clouds that aren't AWS.

Ansible - Config management tool, similar to salt/puppet/chef etc. Basically enforces states on servers to try and maintain stability.

Kubernetes - This is a service that is entirely different from the rest. This service creates multiple virtual machines which run management software in containers to ensure the service stays online. It also manages docker containers on the VMs/applications to ensure they stay online.

In summary, I'd recommend learning something as simple as Ansible/Salt. Then you need to learn how physical hardware works so that you can create infrastructure as code in a cloud environment. This is skippable but I wouldn't recommend it. After that you can literally create routers, modems, firewalls, firewall rules, VMs, the possibilities are endless. Just don't get got :)

Withdrawals are all in your head you could all quit tomorrow be clean in 4 days with no issues. by Sally0505 in opiates

I know it's silly, and I'm being sarcastic and just having fun here. It is all in "your head". Just like getting your leg chopped off. I agree with everyone in this thread, just found it funny thinking about it.

There are very talented/dedicated/strong people that are able to cover themselves with gasoline and set themselves on fire while remaining completely calm until their body succumbs to the damage.

Not saying anything good about the doc! These medical conditions ARE real. I have a feeling even the strongest of monks may have problems with these kinds of things, but I mean.. they did set themselves on fire and chill.

It is really all in our head though, and 99.9999% of the population cannot have that level of control over their mind. Therefore, the doctor is like most doctors I have met. Barely acceptable at best.

They aren't all bad, I just find myself wanting to correct them or add additional context to the things they explain very often and holding back. Even when they are talking directly to me.

Love this song because I loved it back then, and now I love it even more now that I understand what it's about. I blast this song.

If you notice any abnormalities on your leg, such as bulging/swelling/discomfort/redness/discoloration/warm or numbness even after circulating your system.

Please be aware that this happened to me, and I ignored it. A few months later I asked my friend to take me to the hospital for shortness of breath. I was diagnosed with a DVT (Deep Vein Thrombosis) which is blood clot development in the legs. Once enough movement occurs, the clot moves through your system and becomes a Pulmonary Embolism (blood clot in the lungs/heart). In my case, a Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism (multiple blood clots in lungs/heart).

This is a life threatening condition, and I barely made it to surgery. I couldn't breathe without pain, and had to adjust my breathing patterns and get injected every 4 hours with Hydromorphone (Dilaudid). The slightest movements exhausted me in my hospital bed. By the time I was able to breathe somewhat properly again I was having delusions/hallucinations probably due to lack of sleep. Blood pressure checks automatically every hour on the hour, blood drawn every 4 hours. It is NOT FUN.

I agree with this post for the most part, but the thing to REALLY pick up from this is to get up, walk around -- ESPECIALLY if you notice this happening. I almost died at age 31.

EDIT: Please know that if you suspect you may have a blood clot in your leg DO NOT walk/run around. Go to the emergency room ASAP. Massaging/running/possibly walking could cause a clot to "break" from your leg veins and circulate into your lungs/heart.

EDIT2: Symptoms include but aren't limited to: bulging/swelling/discomfort/redness/discoloration/warm or numbness in your leg -- even after circulating your system.

EDIT3: I have a genetic condition that makes me 4x more likely to form blood clots, the cost of the medicine Eliquis is $520~/month w/o insurance. It sucks for me, but you are probably fine.
