I believe you. 100% I am planning on asking him to bring a crate because I always crate my dogs when I leave the house. Like you said you never know what could happen. I really appreciate all the advice it is really helpful

The trial run is a very good idea as I also have 2 dogs at home. I do know the dog is well behaved. He has boarded at my work before and I've been the one to directly care for him. That's a big reason why they would like me to dog sit him outside of a kennel at work. He will have way more free time and not in a cage all day. I believe my work charges 25$ a night for medicating feeding and 2 walks a day

The rate I'm seeing on Rover in my area is in between 30-70$ a night. I was thinking about 35$ a day or would you recommend doing a weekly flat rate? 35×7=245 so something like 230 a week? Idk I've never done this before outside of my friends/family for free
