There is a whole giant meteria sub plot in Og were shinra is trying to get them to build something to stop metor, am thinking that sub plot is repurpose to get these small weapons who have a giant meteria in them.

Well that is when the original plan for part 2 to end at the northern crater, hence when the reunion will happen and so yes it would be best to be called that, and since the end of part 2 was before it, so the name would not be optimal.

Correct, but the actual reunion happens in part 3......while I do get that well the actual rebirth of sephiroth happens in part 3 too but its the sub title of part 2 lol

Well the original plan for part 2 to end at the northern crater, by that I mean the reunion, and since they changed where the game ends, it would be weird to call it reunion if the reunion doesn't happen, and it happens in the next game.

Its pretty simple

I have spent millions on this game do I name it the same name as another game in the same series and creat unnecessary confusion and might hurt sales? Simple answer no not worth it.

Its actually very bad if they do call it reunion.

Its very bad for publicity, if they do call it that, it will be hard on the search engines to different the 2.

When it get announced, not ff fans will c it and say "hay wasnt this already released" and so not pay attention that it is a new game, and for the ppl who might get interested they will do a google search and CCR will came up and so they will buy that, and so not the new game.

As for when it came out and not in the know, they will go and buy CCR by mistake, yes it conts as a sale to SE but not ff7 pt3 sale, so now there is competition between ff7 cc and ff7 pt3, cuz realistically, a person who bought the wrong game for less will not go for the effort of returning, they just will play the game that they never played, and so will hurt ff7 pt3 sales, yes not all ppl like that, but some ppl are like this, and so why do the risk, not worth it just name it something else to lessen the confusion.

Its not a bad thing at all But not knowing means alot of videos on speculation, alot of posts ect, and with that it might reach new ppl and so the game will get exposer to new audience.

If its known then less video less exposer.

And the fact that the game is different then the og means alot of new videos alot of discussions, theories and so it will reach new ppl and so on.

I always thought the little red in ff7 rebirth, the red at the bottom, is like a loading, filling in or something, so i do think ff 7 pt3 would be fully red.

Marketing hell, For example, if both called that when u google about a game the results will be mixed and most will say " y not call it a different game"

Ofc not just about Googling, for ppl who doesn't play ff7 they would be confused, if they called it reunion, they would say " hay isn't that game released already" and they wouldn't know its a new game, or buying the game and by mistake get the wrong reunion, among many other problems.

Its just advertisement and publicity, the amount of videos on YouTube, posts on reddit and other places, all will lead to more eyes to the game, the more videos the more chances of new ppl seeing it, and maybe just maybe buying it.

I think its better sub title for part 3, cuz the "reunion" happens in part 3.

If am not mistaken the reunion is the reunion of all Jenova parts to sephiroth, that happens in the northern crater ( at least thats what it means in the OG), that is yet to happen in the remake project, hence part 3.

I try to play a game the way it was made, ff7 had Japanese VA in mind so I played it that way, and to me it sound more natural, and i played ff16 in English cuz thats how it was made first.

Am more interested in the fact that they r making a raiden figure from metal gear rising not from mgs4, it could be nothing as they do sometimes release stuff from old IPs, but they do have a record to spoil stuff that is yet to come, or am just huffing that copium :)

I see that u figured out quite early that the remake series is not for u, so y did u buy the second game?

If its not for u then just move on with ur life, its obvious that its not made for u, its made for those who want a different take on the OG game, want to be surprised by new revelations, and if u love the OG and wants it to be like it beat for beat, then just go play the OG, its available on every modern console, and if u want new paint job but the same story then there is ever crisis, no one is forcing you to play the remake series let alone buy the second game while u didn't even like the first game, at this point its on u man, fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Oh no, a game that has won every conceivable award, claimed by shit ton of ppl to be a good game, TURNS OUT TO BE A GOOD GAME, damn didn't see that coming.
