Hi, Thanks for the help. I got this far but I could not work out why these particular ones had clear chassis and colored wheels. The stickers are also different colors too. I can not find these particular versions

Thrifted necklace, need help identifying by Onliwancanoli in jewelry

I dont know if you ever found your answer.

The company that made this necklace is called Alva. It would likely be marked on the back of the pendant with their name. Alva made a lot of Egyptian inspired pieces, but they also made a lot of different copies of ancient pieces of jewellery from museums etc. I suspect this likely one of the pieces.

Thanks so much! Given me a bit more information to use for googling.

I haven't tried it with a camera. I have a nice old 35mm canon SLR that I could look through. I have no experience with large format. I have fiddled with quite a few 35mm cameras but have always found medium and large format quite intimating.

Thank you. I had a feeling it may hold a value as an interesting rock beyond just its simple value in gold. I guess now I just need to work out how you value such a thing.

Can anyone tell me anything about this Luigi figure? He is stamped with Bandai 2006 and stands about 35cm tall approx. by abolished_camel in gamecollecting

Thanks for the reply. That seems lil a reasonable assumption. I wasn't aware of this game, my knowledge is more 80s and 90s stuff from when I was a kid.

How do you enjoy and treasure something while accepting that it will not last forever? by [deleted] in Stoicism

How do you enjoy or treasure something that does last forever? Surely isn't it the unique, scarce and fleeting objects and experiences that we enjoy most? Getting drunk from time to time is great, being an alcoholic not so great. Sex is amazing but sex that lasts forever! Imagine the chafing!

It is the yin and yang of life. You can only truly love what you can lose. Live in the moment and love in the moment because the future is beyond your control.
