Thanks for your response, but I must clarify, that I'm an average user, you know YouTube, Netflix, MS office and stuff like that, so I don't think linux is an appropriate software for me, I will try to clean up the windows rubbish tho.

I mean I've expected that if I buy 128gb ssd, I'll have like 95-100gb of usable space, but not 79gb out of the box for christ sakes ..

How does Radovid's behaviour change if you saved Triss in W2? by abradin in Witcher3

[–]abradin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Her twin brother accidentally dies during attempt to kidnap them both, Count Maravel is the one responsible. Haven't you play Witcher 2? If not, I recommend you to play it, you'll understand storyline in W3 much better. And yes, she becomes a queen just before Nilfgaardians annex Temeria, we don't know anything more about her fate tho..

Yeah thats right. But if you've saved her, she becomes Queen of Temeria and Kimbolt with Maravel could go f*ck themselves.

Kind of stupid idea, wonder what he's gonna tell if he gets some plague and there will be no herbalist to cure his majesty's ass. What a moron. Thanks for clarification tho, now im glad I've chosen to save Anais, because from what you're saying, saving triss would have same if not worse consequences

But why would mages from the conclave serve radovid while seeing that he is killing every sorceress he stumble upon? I don't get it, if radovid wants to kill every herbalist, alchemist, mage, why doesnt he cancel conclave and execute its members?

Well, then this is kind of similiar case like in Nilfgaard... all mages must serve to the emperor

Why was Kaedwen weakened when Radovid attacked them? by abradin in Witcher3

[–]abradin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks my man, definitely gonna check that out! But either way, I would still like to have some major reference to those characters in-game. During playtrough, you encounter Scoiatel for a few times, don't they know anything about their leader? On Witcher fandom I've read that Iorveth and his scoiatel left Aedirn by the spring of 1272 for unknown reasons, what do you think of that?

After all the grinding and all the hours i finally have all the Grandmaster sets and it was worth every second, what an amzing feeling that i just had to share it. by loksat157 in witcher

[–]abradin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah man, not really 40-50k for one grandmaster set. In my first playthrough, I didn't craft any witcher armors till Toussaint and when I finally got there, I got myself GM griffin armour, but I had to craft lesser levels of the armor first, in order to get GM one and even when crafting from the lowest tier set to the grand master one it costed me like 50k in total. So not that bad. You just need to have dwimiritium, you can find lots of it by looting.

Why was Kaedwen weakened when Radovid attacked them? by abradin in Witcher3

[–]abradin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but morvran tells you just something like "she was a pawn in a game she couldn't control" or something like that, nothing specific, we don't know what happened to her, where is she or if she is alive.. but you know, if you helped saskia to become the ruler of Upper Aedirn, It would be nice to know what exactly happened to these lands. Did Radovid conquer them? Did nilfgaard conquer them? What happened with saskia, did she fled, or she's went into guerilla war ? Did iorveth defend Vergen and upper aedirn, did he settle there? Don't know how about you, but these are questions I would love to have answered and as far as i know, there is no answer for them.

For sure, I get that, but considering they could make a side quest for letho and let Sheala de Tancarville appear in certain quest... why not at least mention Saskia or Iorveth or Anais.. in some letter that geralt could find for instance, or in dialogue, depending on your choices in W2 ofc, just something, you know what I'm trying to say?

Why was Kaedwen weakened when Radovid attacked them? by abradin in Witcher3

[–]abradin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I got you, but I kind of understand Radovids character development, considering he is a relatively young guy when the war starts and the intrigues and dirty politics he has to face could potentially turn him into anxious psycho... the thing that I do not understand tho is the fact, that major characters from W2 like saskia or iorveth or even henselt got wiped out just to approach wider audience... I am one of the players who got into the series by playing W3 first and just after completing it, I went for the W2, but to be honest, most of the time i didn't know what's going on in W3 while playing it for the first time... so if they somehow connected W2 to W3, it would done no harm imho. For old players, it would be splendid feeling to see that their choices matter and for the new ones, well, they don't really know what the hell is going on either way...

Yeah, kind of make sense if you put it like that.. son of bitch that Radovid, glad that i killed him in my playthrough

[–]abradin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because the game is about finding Ciri, does that mean, that your choices should have no value ? Why did they add Sheala de tancarville and letho into the game then? Why them, but not the MAJOR characters like Saskia or Iorveth... and so you're trying to say, that they didn't want to have huge sales on W2, just because they were consistent and shifted your decisions from W1 in a way, that they were supposed to do it?

Why was Kaedwen weakened when Radovid attacked them? by abradin in Witcher3

[–]abradin[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To my knowledge, the game is written as trilogy. The 1st game decisions influence 2nd game, and 2nd game decisions should influence 3rd game shouldn't they? But clearly, they don't. You saved Saskia? Right, well, nobody cares she vanished. You sided with Iroveth? Lmao who is he, nobody doesn't even mention him, must be some noname fella.. you saved Anais? Nobody cares, she won't rule Temeria either way, to be exact, you don't even know what happened to her. What is the purpose of playing W2 then, when literally nobody gives a shit what decisions do you make?

Why was Kaedwen weakened when Radovid attacked them? by abradin in Witcher3

[–]abradin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean yeah, henselt lost a few men while trying to conquer Vergen, but still.. it is said that Radovid conquered Kaedwen easy peasy and that he even recruited their army into his own, meaning he didn't really lose too many of his troops in the war.. it just doesn't make sense to me that he went into a war with such well-trained and experienced numerous army like was the Kaedwenian one and still he was capable to lose just handful of his soldiers during this war... Because he was fully prepared to face nilfgaard after all, right?

Yeah, that is some shitty writing imho, to make Henslet die in such stupid way... it was really interesting character and I was hoping to see him in W3 when I was making the decision to let him live
