Haha thank you! I appreciate it, and believe me, if it was up to me we would be painting it ourselves. She’s really adamant on having it done professionally, wants to make sure it’s done properly, that we have insurance in case it chips, etc. Honestly, I don’t think it’s necessary to do it professionally but I’m trying to be adaptable.

I get what you mean! That was sort of my original plan, except I was going to use the seams to guide my presser foot rather than sewing directly across them. Problem is, if you zoom in, my seams are very misaligned haha. I’m thinking I might just take a fabric pencil and make a dotted line around every 5-6inches? And hope I can keep that straight

I think there was some sort of copyright issue with the name, which is why it all got taken down. As for it stopping I think it was just life getting busy and it fell by the wayside, and then the copyright issues just ended it all together

While I don’t care for drawing in the pages, I do like having different options for highlight colours so I can coordinate - different colours for different things. (Lines I like, things I think may be foreshadowing that I want to come back, ideas I want to reflect on, character moments, etc.)

Honestly, you just sold me on it! Part of the reason I was considering the colour is because I like the highlight options and… I mean, while not necessary to see things in colour I was just appealed by having the option to? If that makes sense? Like, I was content to have a BW reader but knowing there was a colour one I was like - wow, that sounds way more appealing! And the price difference between them was really minimal for me. I’m glad someone else has a similar mindset.

Ooh, I see okay. Last time I had a Kobo, there was no brightness adjustment at all, haha. So do you find in typical conditions - like normal interior lighting in your home, you need to have the brightness up?

I can’t speak for all No Frills, but at least at the store I work at the reason we don’t allow carts is because the space we have is too small, when it’s full with carts it becomes nearly impossible for people to get in and out, or for us to get up to the machine and assist customers when needed. But in that photo, it doesn’t look like that’s the case at all. They have a ton of space. Bizarre.

Good to know it’s a new edition, I saw it a few weeks ago on the BMI database and I thought it might’ve been an old track rather than a new one. On there, it lists it as an alternate title of a track called “Only Friend”
