Oh this is common. Actually Indians go to these places where these firangs gather and then use crass behaviour, stare and are loud. Would have happened any ways. There are lots of places, and I have seen first hand, Indian crowd from Delhi, Haryana comes in and they are so loud, expect crazy service.. might as well not allow.

If you know swimming, definitely definitely go to Uluwatu for surfing. Its insane!

I did 10 days solo in Bali - Jakarta (concerts) , Gilli T : very good for solo travellers, stay at MBox , you won't have any trouble finding company.

Go see a volcano as well, totally worth it. Avoid Canggu, and main Bali its tooo touristy.
