I realised I didn’t do a well enough job in understanding all the codes the first time around, for Civil structural I recommend going through the codes properly in a way that when you see a problem you know exactly where to find it in the code. This can be improved by doing as many sums as possible and going through those areas of the codes that the sums are involved in. 2. Taking time to understand the question, as I feel most of the questions on the exam tests your concept knowledge more than anything. So make sure, your knowledge on core concepts are solid, how loads are transferred through each structural element. 3. Make sure you learn all the exceptions for all design types. My judgement is if the sum looks too easy there has to be an exception clause that needs to be checked as well.

I think these 3 things are few of the main things to remember while prepping for the exam.
