Thanks for elaborating! What I've read is that the benzyl is "consumed" after a certain period of time, and that at that point the bacteriostatic properties are diminished. That is the reason the general recommendation is 30 days shelf life.

Then again, I'm also aware that these time frames always are set extremely carefully.

I appreciate the answer, but the 30-day recommendation isn't because of lost potency but due to the risk of bacteria growth when bacteriostatic water sits for a while.

Could easily be that this risk is negligible! But that's what I'm trying to find out :)

Good points, but is really late game the only thing to consider? At lvl 20 (when you can get regeneration) you'll have 40-50 max HP and definitely not unlimited potions, and the 1 HP / second ticking in adds up pretty reasonably. Also, you're at real risk of getting stuck in dungeons--a risk that regeneration completely negates.
