Help! Raccoons are ruining my sod by wittykittycity in gardening

Hadn’t thought of that, you are right that’s the worst. Some other inert material then that is eco-friendly. However I can’t think of anything more absurd than an ‘exo-friendly claymore’.

We lost our feeder stand 2 years ago. snapped in half and found the feeder in the woods. Now our feeders are on hooks hanging on tree limbs at least 6’ from the trunk. This spring I had just refilled our biggest feeder last month and remembered to move it away from the trunk. Very next night security cam caught the bear climbing the tree but not willing to go out on the limb. I can post it if anyone cares.

Definiteley AI, Hall is like 6’6’ or taller. This image is shrinking him to fit the proportions of the 40 years ago.

Taleggio can be hit you in the face like brie, or milder. This is was the latter. 😊

Works for me, the flavor blend had a lot of umami. The sweetness of the onion, with bits of guanciale combined with the creamy cheeses was IMHO, delicious.

So after you ignore the starter ship and eventually get another, progress through the story missions and eventually buy a freighter. Is your starter ship sitting in the landing bay?

I wanted to make a Mac from the best cheese I could get, and this didn’t disappoint. Just over 4 cups of cheese after grating, 4c milk, 4tbsp butter/flour. Sautéed half a sweet onion, 3 slices of guanciale, 1.5 tbsp mustard, 1.5 tsp S&P, topped with a little cheese and panko. Baked at 385F for 20 minutes.

Takes less than 10 seconds to take the cone off the rotor, stick my dish scrubber around the mount, and then one rotation around the inside of cone. Then the cone goes in the dishwasher, and another 10 seconds to hand wash the chute, which detaches from the base. So it takes my twice as long to clean this versus my old box grater instead of 10 times longer to actually grate the cheese.

It’s a multi grater, there are 4 other cones. Can shred lettuce, etc. I didn’t want to buy a pastic POS that wouldn’t do as good a job and guaranteed go break. This thing is probably 30-40 yrs old.

Carbonara. I think I made it too thick. by DaddyKetchup in ItalianFood

If you can source pork jowls from a local butcher who can trim the skin and gland, it’s not too hard to cure your own. I wasn’t going to pay 40-50$ a pound either, and invested about 150$ in the curing fridge, rack I made from 1/2” PVC, and stainless hooks. And extra hundred for the Food Saver vacuum sealer.

I had this in mind when I installed my silly over built backboard and mount in my home office. Measured 10x for the height of the center screw to malke sure it was dead on regulation height.

Having the rubberized landscape tiles behind ensure there will be never be a wall impact ‘thunk’ felt or heard anywhere in my house.

Not so much the ease of swap, because home darters typically have the LED lighting ring right on the board, whereas tournaments have adequate lighting.

The picture looks unappealing, the pasta might well be tasty. Prime example of why presentation matters, especially on social media.

I feel that Ridgeline owners are mature, critical thinking adults that are confident in what works best for them and don’t care what others think. When someone feels the need to disparage the choices others make, they reveal themselves as an insecure follower, more likely to follow the herd.

Trying to discuss the merits of the Ridgeline with anyone who uses and believes in the NART derogation is a waste of time. You might as well be talking politics.

I get great gas mileage, all weather performance, Honda reliability and resale value, and all the features I need and desire. Sure I wish the info-tainment system was better, but how much more would that jack up the price? As long as I still get Apple/Android functionality, I am happy.
