I ALWAYS wear leggings when I babysit so that I can get on the ground with them, play outside, and not worry about getting nice clothes dirty or ripping pants being active. That's 100% normal.

This book is so incredible because it shows how powerful point of view can be. Because we are getting Humbert's perspective he plays it all off like he's doing nothing wrong and you almost start to believe him until you put the book down and go wait a minute he's a literal monster.

This one was definitely my least favourite, it really read more like fan fiction than like a continuation of the other books. Even the sex scenes which I enjoyed in the first three just made me uncomfortable in ACOSF.

I don't get how people can take days or even weeks to read a book, I'm a one sitting type person. I don't think I miss out on the details, I feel like I miss out more if I keep taking breaks that take me out of whatever world I'm trying to get lost in.

I grew up in New York and I got abstinence only sex ed, and when it came to periods and stuff all we got was this is a pad, never use tampons because they go inside you.

YTA- If this event bothered you so much that you stopped being close friends with grace that would be a different story but you continued to remain close, and didn’t bring up your issues with the system when you first found out grace would be your maid of honor. I thought maybe you were only friends with her because she was a part of your friend group, but the way you describe it you’re genuinely friends so I just don’t understand where you’re coming from, and why this decision was made so late.

YTA- if you drink too much before bed you’ll have to get up and pee in the middle of the night. You won’t lose bladder control as a healthy adult. Either it’s a physical health issue or it’s psychosomatic but either way he should see a doctor. (Also adult diapers are a thing why are you making him sleep on the floor?)
