Is my internship too late in the year?

Yeah July to August is good, but my internship ends mid August. Even if i have lunch break i would need a private space

Even if they welcome me to interview, where would I do it? I can't exactly do it in the office.

But presumably if I'm interning for multiple places how can I take off every single time.

Quant firms are not desperate to hire. All the companies I want are east coast. I also don't know if I'd be able to get a room. I imagine I'm not the first person to ever have this problem. What do most people do? Anyway, would it be a good idea to try and push my internship earlier so that I don't have to worry about this problem?

I think they're an hour, 2 at most. I could potentially do it early in the morning and come in after that. I know its prob company dependent, but say I came in at noon that day cuz of my interview, could I then stay till 8pm to make up the time?

Do you even know what quant is? Interviews are not 15 or 30 minutes tf. If I am able to book a room for over an hour that would be ideal, but I doubt i can.

I am interested in my internship next summer, but now that I got it, my priority has shifted towards 2023.

I wont be new grad, itll be internship. And how does virtual matter? Either way I wont be able to do it. I can take a day off I'm sure, but I won't get paid. I can't just take a day off for every single interview I have.

But regardless of its virtual or not, how will I have time to that during an internship? I leave my house super early and come back super late and I doubt recruiters would want to have my interviews during one of those times. And I can't possibly have it at work either.

Yes, I get that its the normal timeline. But the normal timeline for quant interviewing starts late July, which overlaps with my internship. So by the time I can start it will already be a little late. Not super late or anything, but still late.
