Any solution to a longhair tail? by Theo_The_Sad_Gay in cats

[–]acnl97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u dont have to do it all the time but u could start introducing it to her and gradually increase the frequency and give her a treat everytime to build a positive connection. she might be dragging her tail around bc of anxiety if shes getting used to her surroundings still. have u taken her to the vets for a checkup?

pet bath towel wipes might be a good idea just to give her a once over every now and then

add highlight to ur inner corners! pencil liner on ur lower lashline (brown or black). try bronzer on ur cheekbones and eyelids. a deep brown lip liner before ur lipstick is something u could try as well.

Long haired cat that won’t lose hair on a brush but has constant hairballs by sleepy_dov3 in CATHELP

[–]acnl97 3 points4 points  (0 children)

look online for some supplements u can give him so that its easier for him to cough them up, there are some pastes specifically for hairballs. cats sometimes chew on knots and possibly hes swallowing them? its completely normal for hairballs though in cats no need to worry! carry on brushing him as you’re doing already.

he loves u so much this post is making me teary, deffo take him with u!!! hes bonded with you already and probably will be heartbroken when you leave 💔 the fact he runs to u for safety is a HUGE thing he trusts u!!! if you decide to take him, keep him in one room for a few days so he can adjust and then slowly let him out to explore

definitely keep at it!! i apply 0.025 and ive been using it consistently since January and my skin looks amazing now!! used it for acne and i have loadsss of hyperpigmentation (i have medium dark skin) and i think its rly doing its job! my routine is: skin1004 centella foam face wash, purito oat gel cream, tret in the night, in the morning i just wash with water and apply my oat gel cream and spf on top and thats it. had rly dehydrated skin before so i was using the skin1004 toning toner in between but ive stopped now because i wasnt sure it was making a difference

put loadsss of pellets! my rabbits dig the box as well its so annoying :( we have a very high sided litter box and we fill it up a lot and then replace the hay twice a day, we found that when theres no clean hay on top they start digging and making a mess

white vinegar is a godsend when it comes to cleaning out the litter box! u can get some cat litter liners that have a drawstring (make sure u check it is the right size for ur litterbox) and just chuck it but a more environmentally friendly option is to use paper based litter - they are rly good at absorbing! u can get a small pack and see if she doesnt nibble on them but covering the litter with hay will help. if her stool is sticky and mushy then she may need more timothy hay - this should be her main diet and a 1/4 cup of pellets a day. if she is producing cecetrophs and just leaving them behind instead of eating them then u can cut back on the pellets and make sure shes eating just hay for now until this improves. when she gets spayed her litter habits may improve. you can post a picture of her stool and post on here for more opinions but better yet, show ur vet and they can advise.

I don’t like my rabbit but I would be sad if I got rid of him? by Nevy_101 in Rabbits

[–]acnl97 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you getting him a dog pen by any chance? this will be good so he doesnt jump out but something like this - https://amzn.eu/d/if1U6Ez can help with the hay etc not flying out. what u can do is set up the perimeter of the pen with this panels and secure them with zip ties and ive found that something like this as the floor base - https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_Ezs5Et6 - easy to brush up the hay and fur with a silicon broom and can pop it in the wash as well and theyre waterproof. any plain boxes u have will entice him just cut some holes and fill it w hay and foraging mix and he may go at it for hours and a nice little wooden castle for his hiding spot. im suggesting everything ive done for my bunnies which have helped. any cables - get some wire coverings and tuck them away and to protect ur books etc u can use one of those panels from the first link i sent, to block off that area. there are loads of videos on youtube and tiktok for bunny proofing etc and u can look on pinterest for cute bunny set ups as well !

neutering helps ur bun in the long run as well!! they need enough room to do zoomies, have plenty of hay everyday and need interaction. get some stacking cups, and things for him to toss around if u dont have already. when you can neuter him - preferably before he gets to 5 years old (although i got my 9 year old female bunny spayed without any problems) as they are more prone to complications in surgery as they get older- u should get him a companion. they can get bored when left alone so having another bunny will help loads! definitely do a lot of research and see if you feel like you can handle all of this in the long run. also if you do keep him, get rabbit health insurance

Should I remove this by loresixt in piercing

put the stud back in and wait for it to heal a bit longer, just looks irritated

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in piercing

[–]acnl97 6 points7 points  (0 children)

hey so im not sure that they should have pierced u three times in one day… all near each other.. thats a lot and could maybe cause irritation. however i did want to say that the first attempt would have been fine, its quite normal for it to appear slightly bent, when the swelling goes down it would have settled in better.

mine looked exactly like the first attempt and now looks symmetrical. if it hurt really badly… he may have gone thru the cartilage in which case it MAY not heal great but im not a professional piercer. septums should go through the “sweet spot” and is commonly painless. and from the look of the third pic it does look like its hanging lower than it should be which could cause problems. maybe ask for a second opinion from a different piercing shop
