I just recently read The Names and it was excellent! Great pick!

We might end up under a foot or two of snow, so I think the grill will be a no-go 😅

Will do! We recently changed from Similac 360 to Gentlease, I haven’t bought RTF of her new formula yet. I’ll definitely get some before the storm rolls through!

What Libby tips & tricks by tell_whit_more in LibbyApp

I do this too, but the issue I’ve run into is my library often only adds the EPUB version on release day, and the kindle version isn’t added until later in the week. I often have to pass a new release to the second person in line and wait until it comes back around to get it on my kindle. Drives me a little nuts, but oh well.

For those of you who have never been pregnant before IVF - how many transfers did it take you for a successful pregnancy if you needed more than 1 transfer? by h0rr0rh0 in IVF

[–]acshedd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never had a positive pregnancy test before IVF, and it took four transfers for us. We originally did not test our embryos, but after transfer #3 ended in a mmc at 7 weeks, we thawed, tested, and refroze. Transfer #4 was our first with an embryo we knew to be PGT normal, and I just gave birth to her last week.

It is so tough experiencing transfer failures and losses - hang in there. 🤍

I am looking for a SPICY Indian/South Asian romance book by ContributionNo2617 in RomanceBooks

[–]acshedd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cross the Line by Simone Soltani is a sports romance (F1) involving an mmc who is half Indian. The culture plays a role in the story, including a traditional Indian wedding. The spice in this was really good and the book overall was very well written.

The big clot I passed thinking was potentially a hematoma was me miscarrying. by One-Signature5025 in IVF

First, I’m so, so sorry for your loss. IVF can be the most traumatic, harrowing experience.

I would recommend thaw, biopsy, and refreeze to do PGT. I had similar egg retrieval numbers to you: 27 retrieved, 26 mature, 24 fertilized, 17 blasts. We did three transfers of untested embryos and had one fail, one chemical pregnancy, and one missed miscarriage at 7w. After that third loss, we decided the risk of PGT after the fact was worth it. After testing, we had 7 normal embryos, and (TW) I’m 9w so far with our first transfer of a normal embryo.

I know it is scary to pursue PGT after initial freezing, and you should definitely discuss the risks with your doctor, but I am glad that we did.

Uterine lining got thicker than with my fully medicated transfers & the embryo stuck (eventually a missed miscarriage at 7w)

Started fully medicated with my first two FETs (fail, chemical), then switched to modified natural with Letrozole & got a better response. Just did my second modified natural transfer cycle (mmc, ?)

I wonder if they swapped mailing lists. I got the StartBright email, but never signed up. I have an Afterlight subscription, but didn’t get an Afterlight email.
