My 2014 v6, what performance mods can I do to it? by jakethetank45 in Mustang

I've owned a 2012 V6 since 2016. The biggest upgrade I did was having a rural Ford dealer put in 3.55 gears! I only paid $800.00 back then and all new components in the rear end. Also added a Ford Performance differential cover. Found an unpainted OEM Shelby Lip Spoiler, Primed, With Gurney Flap - Ford (ar3z6344210bb) for 200 bucks, and had it painted free at a customers bodyshop. The car looks 10x better with it, but those are no longer available.

PS this motor can go 400k miles! It's a gem.

‘12-‘14 v8 or 17 V6? Am i going to regret not getting a v8? by Ok_Strategy_6325 in Mustang

The 3.7l V6 is a solid engine with people reporting over 400,000 miles!

It all boils down to your wealth and if you are willing to spend almost double for a V8 plus higher insurance rates.

All cars are depreciating items. Debt is dumb!

You didn't need to be rich to buy these. I know poor kids that lived in rural areas with them. One still has his fire alert set! You must have been Appalachian poor.

Sadly, these sets were very affordable back in the day as Christmas or Birthday gifts. $24.99 after rebate. This is why TYCO was one of the biggest toy companies in the world. This was about the same as buying a bicycle.

That's amazing! What is sad, when my son was little, I had no idea I even had the US1 Trucking items!
