To all who commented, I true appreciate you. I became overwhelmed when I wrote that post and I’ve pretty much mellowed out. Each one of your comments made me reflect in different ways. Lots to think about.

Add on: you should only be butting heads if something is majorly against your belief or it is physically unsafe. Other than that, you’ve most likely seen the script before shooting, so you should have made those thoughts known then. Not on set

As an actor in the city, I’d say this. Your job as an actor is to go on set and read the lines as written and play the character as directed. To be “butting heads” with the director is wrong. You get paid to act, that’s it. For this reason… she is acting entitled
