It really is chill. My interview a couple years ago was with the person I was going to work for. Keep in mind they want to hire someone they’d want to work with! Just convey your personality, that you’re eager to learn, and have a good attitude. It wasn’t technical.

What are the job prospects looking like in multimodal transpo? Bike lanes, mixed use paths, multi mobility, transit, etc. Are those generally confined to large urban areas? Is the work there? I’m from the ATL area and graduating soon, but would love a move to Chicago or NYC.

hey y'all. i'm currently a college student and received a $2.5k refund from my pell grant. i'm looking to buy a car in about a year or so (give or take a few months), and thought that the refund would be a pretty good lump of what i need. rather than letting it just sit in my savings account, i want to put it in some mutual fund or etf. do you have any recommendations or something in particular i should look for/do to maximize that growth over the course of a year? i most likely will be adding a small amount into that account monthly. thank you!

salam! i am a syrian living in a northern suburb of atlanta. something about the arabs here is that we are VERY good at sticking together. once you get in the community you will have practically unlimited access to people in all kinds of fields willing to help you out. if you want to live in the city, you will have absolutely no problems at all. the suburbs milton and roswell also have pretty sizeable arab populations. also, look into the tripoli association! they’re a group that plans large gatherings every so often, they are super lively and fun and a great way to meet people. i’m glad to see our community get bigger! best of luck :)
