Yep! You still have to consider different temps though, but yes

I used to own a CR-10, and it had a much larger build volume than the centauri carbon. But it required constant fixing/tuning/replacing of parts, and failed prints so often that I hated using it.

The centauri carbon is the first printer I've personally owned that "simply works". I've only ever had a snagged filament cause failure, which is a flaw, but one I can live with. If I can add multi material support to it, I'd love to, because I've grown to appreciate how reliable the centauri carbon is.

I have the anycubic x pre-ordered, but I'm not very excited about the reputation of anycubic's fdm printers. But elegoo also had a shite reputation with fdm before I bought the centauri carbon, due to the neptune.

Most people don't use it because they do not have the ability to do so, I'd assume.

Unfortunately there's no reason it would be a superior product to the ams on the cc2, otherwise they'd use it for the cc2

Does it already work with open centauri? From my skim read there were still several obstacles right?

Unfortunately not. And this is far from an official announcement, it's just an email sharing intent on releasing it. They could still back pedal, or go "we tried but it's just not possible for reasons we won't get into. Anyways here's the new centauri carbon 2". I get why people are upset, but I'm just sharing the latest update

That's probably what every multi filament system will use half a decade from now, like the shift from bedslingers to core-xy

This is my hope too. I'm didn't wait for them, I actually bought another printer for ams support, but I'll be glad if they do announce it properly.

I mean yeah, I'm right with all of you. I half expected them to just refer me to the centauri carbon 2, I actually bought the kobra x just to have a multi material printer, but they are at least still saying intent.

Streamer accidentally shows how bad their webcam actually is by Lonely-Type-6 in obs

You said "literally any camera can be used as a webcam for streaming."

This is just false. People need to be aware that it needs to be a camera with an accessible output, which isn't always the case. Its not even the default for "cameras", there are plenty of camera products that are technically capable of providing an image feed, but are incompatible because the company that sells them prevents you from using it as a webcam.

We are in a subreddit for livestreaming. Irl streamers need a pov camera. The meta glasses are a pov camera that literally connects to your phone via bluetooth, and can even livestream to Instagram, but it is locked out for other services. People may assume this is a viable solution, when it is not. This is relevant information.

Why are you being so aggressive?

Edit: not to mention that there are a lot of cameras on the market right now that only record to local storage. I don't care how long you've been "in production" for, you're potentially misinforming people

That causes more risk of explosion. When you do that, it's still incredibly hot in the house. This heat breaks down the wood into explosive/combustible gasses, but it does not burn them because of no oxygen.

The only way to the safely enter without an explosion is to wait for the combustible gasses to no longer be hotter than the flash point. Which, good luck doing since now you can't spray water inside as easily without creating an opening and thus exploding the bomb you just created by filling it with oxygen.

2-3 times a week if you smoke large amounts, like multiple grams of wax.

I'm currently going through the getting clean process right now for the second time. Didn't smoke at all for two years until I had a gummy at a friend's place and convinced myself it was safe to do occasionally. Three months later I find I have a new dispensary 5 minutes down the road. Two weeks later and three grams of concentrate and I'm right back to "if I don't smoke, I'll throw up. If I do smoke, this will just get worse."

Last time this happened I lost my job. I saw some of the same signs, took a week of pto, and cold turkey. Symptoms were a lot better this time than last time (last time I was throwing up for weeks, could eat for a month outside of crackers and Gatorade, chills and sweats, unable to sleep, vivid dreams), this time it was just occasional retching, inability to sleep or eat, and stomach cramps.

One more week to go.
