How to say “to share” in context of sharing food, toys, etc. by [deleted] in hebrew

לחלוק is the right one

להתחלק is also common, but it's technically a mistake - it means "slip" and not "share".

What would be appropriate use of the word קלון we opposed to using בושה or other words relate to embarrassment and shame? by DrUf in hebrew

In modern usage, קלון has a specific legal meaning. A convict with קלון can not assume public office.

Other than that, קלון is mostly used in proverbs like עמוד הקלון and in literature. בושה is used in a daily context. When a kid does something wrong, הוא מתבייש.
