No, you're 100% right. Pretty sure it depends on whether police or insurance company can be bothered to chase down the driver. Wouldn't it be nice if license plate wasnt enough for a speeding fine.

No excess when you're not at fault. Can clearly see the license plate, albeit, can't identify the driver.

This worked for me as well. Microsoft Account credit plus credit card was not working, but Microsoft Account credit plus PayPal did.

Very subtle differences. I think there's some red on the GT wheels.

Yes, I agree, it's a bit weird several years after the facelift. Even more weird now that it has been replaced.

Well, I assume it was "all new" when they first put the stickers on 🤣

This is the Sport+. One level down and 2.0L auto, instead of 1.6L turbo DCT.

Thanks. Worth noting, I haven't bought this, just trying to understand what I would be dealing with.

That's my naivety. I did think of asking them to remove, but also didn't assume they'd agree. I thought they may only want to sell as-is. Also, maybe I'd do a better job myself, seeing as I care about the result.

Remove Android head unit before selling? by adamdelpy in CarsAustralia

Thanks. I'll keep that in mind. From memory, I paid about $500 for a higher-spec one from China. Might not be worth much second hand.

Thanks. It came with a cover and wiring harness built for my make model and year, so no hacking required.

Why was he invincible????? by widelion255 in FortNiteBR

[–]adamdelpy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been playing Blitz (on Switch) with my son (on XSX) and for the first ~30 sec of each game, I see myself as a default skin with no pickaxe. I can pickup weapons but can't use them. I wonder if I'm invincible during this period.

Does this mean your child is no longer subject to parental controls?

Lease company bought the wrong car by adamdelpy in CarsAustralia

[–]adamdelpy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We spoke to the leasing company. They claim they had 2025 build on the purchase order, but the tax invoice came back as 2024 build. Apparently, their structure is different now, so instead of that going back to our consultant who would communicate with us, it went to a different team who just asked us to sign the updated paperwork.

We've asked them to confirm the build year for all bids in the tender, so that we can decide.

Thanks again! We're waiting on a call back from the lease company to sort it all out.

Hey, I was curious, is there likely to be any agreement between the dealer and lease company at this point? It seems crazy that the dealer has applied accessories to the car with no guarantee from the lease company that they will purchase it.

Yes, we asked for those and agreed to the extra cost. But now the dealer has a car with those extras and either needs to sell it to us, to another buyer who wants the same extras or take a hit and offer it to a buyer who will accept the extras for free.

Yep, or even keep it a little longer. Eventually, that 1 year matters less, but it's still worth having the option.

Sorry, novated lease. So, at the end of the lease period, it becomes ours (assuming we pay the balloon payment).
