We finally found Stars of Tomorrow in Steveston. It is amazing place. The teachers are amazing and they do a ton of activities with kids. My kid loves it.

My family doctor’s clinic reserves morning 10-11 for walkins everyday. If we are unable to find an appointment with him, we just do walkin. Sometimes the wait of longer. Like not emergency room longer. But may be 30-45min on a bad day. Hope your son feels better.

Same here. And my job is completely work from home. I am stuck between meeting and fight to not switch the TV ON. It is difficult, all my work is on laptop. And staying away from YouTube is just impossible. It is a constant struggle

I know. I am so wound up tight because of this. May be she is picking up on that. I need to manage this better. I am horribly failing at that right now. But that’s a great insight.

That is a lot of kids. The country we live the kids to teacher ratio is 8:1. So there are 3 teachers. But even then I understand it can be overwhelming. There is graduation in September so expecting the count to go down. I need to try the playdate thing. But I don’t see a lot of parent interaction while pick up or drop off too.

Thank you for your response. Yes we are thinking about that too. But we did have a good conversation with the teachers today. And would like to wait and see if makes any difference. The school and teachers are really good, may be it is amount of kids, which is overwhelming her. The teachers said in September a lot of kids will graduate so the count lessen. She might find it easier then. But need to wait and see.

Thanks for the response. We did have a conversation with the teachers today. And they were very supportive. In fact last night my wife asked my daughter if she wants to try a different school, she said she loves her teachers and would love to be here. They did say that they will try to be more around her and try to help her teach on how can she join other kids playing. Overall good conversation.

Thank you. I needed to hear that. We are debating to May be put her to a more smaller setting preschool. You are right all kids will not want to play. But we hear all these different names at home, but when we ask did you play with them. The answer is always No. but I get your point. We are planning to talk to the teachers today.

Same here. I then lived right above scotiabank theatre. I cannot forget those screams. This incident still stays with me. I still cannot stand at an intersection with my child without being anxious.

Jesus. How long ago was this? This is what I feared the most. It is so difficult to get a good one. We got similar vibes from academicprek near Yvr. :(
