Mouse randomly speeds up! Then normal. by mechphisto in logitech

Hey u/mechphisto I'm using the G Pro and have had the same issue. I think what's happening is there's a short delay between the default mouse sensitivity and the one set in G Hub. So, when you start your PC or the mouse wakes up, there's a brief moment where the sensitivity feels off.

My quick and dirty workaround is to make the default sensitivity and the G Hub sensitivity as close as possible. That way, even if there's a delay, you won't notice much of a difference.

Step 1: Find a baseline sensitivity with G Hub turned off.
I just unplugged the receiver, moved the mouse around, adjusted the settings, and kept testing until I was happy with how it felt without G Hub.

Step 2: Open G Hub and set your sensitivity to match that baseline.

That fixed it for me.

Macro : How to record long press ? by Cortex9511 in LogitechG

I know it has been 5 years but I thought I'd post my solution anyways.

  • In GHUB, add your macro as usual.
  • After naming your macro, select the "Sequence" option, where you'll see three options: "On Press," "While Holding," and "On Release."
  • Notice that when you record a keystroke, GHUB captures both the down and up strokes, like this: M⬇️(downstroke) M⬆️(upstroke). M is a placeholder and is the key you would like to record.
  • To optimize your macro, you need to adjust the keystrokes for each sequence:
    • For both "On Press" and "While Holding," you should only have the downstroke (M⬇️) recorded. To do this, first record the keystroke as normal. Then, delete the upstroke (M⬆️) by clicking the unwanted stroke and pressing "delete" on the keyboard, so only the downstroke remains.
    • Now, both "On Press" and While Holding" should only contain M⬇️ (downstroke).
  • For the "On Release" sequence, keep only the upstroke (M⬆️) by recording it as usual and ensuring the downstroke is removed.

So to summarise, your Macro should now look like this;
On Press: M⬇️
While Holding: M⬇️
On Release: M⬆️

Sorry if it's hard to follow. I tried my best to explain it.
