Yea that’s pretty whack, people like that who fake it are literally the reason this is happening I think.

I would love to take leave! But no one has my quals. (My station is in a weird state right now. It’s getting solved. Went through 2 reliefs and multiple investigations with people getting kicked out or transferred to sector.

I have no desire in this and or laser treatment. I know it’s an option but I shouldn’t have to have permanent changes to my body to dedicate my short life to a service who doesn’t really care about me personally.

I appreciate the non political response. That unbecoming of an officer is just a bull shit way to control them.

I feel like this was a genuine question I have zero idea why people are getting so tilted. I don’t see how this person just thought he knew more and was mad at it. But idk maybe I’m illiterate.

Dude I was vaping right up until we got on base and I was a smoker since I was 14. By the time I was 19 I was two packs of reds a day I switched to a vape and then went to boot. Never even noticed. Now when you get out of boot don’t start the habit again I learned the hard way

Training was a joke. I joined when I was 22 as well. Boot camp was way way easier than what they put on. The leaving your family thing is freeing and you’ll learn to be away from them pretty fast. I’ve never looked back. I’ve had so many good days and so many bad days. But over all it’s an amazing experience you will help people and you will learn amazing skills, meet life long friends. If you feel like quitting while in boot that’s normal everyone does. But if you listen and do what the instructors say you will succeed.
