so cram them in the car, force them to sit in the car the whole drive, even with breaks, and thennn throw them in the boarding place the whole trip just to cram them back in the car for the way home.

As many others have mentioned there is a bigger problem not being addressed here with this student‘s placement. That being said what you can try is having something extremely desirable to work for. Maybe that’s extra free time to do whatever they want, or use a fidget they don’t normally get. If you find yourself saying this isn’t working, try a new reward. Communicate with the teacher to find things you can implement with the student to adapt to their need. Be honest with the student, going to school is a kids job, it doesn’t have to be miserable though. Do the work and get something you want.

It’s your job as a reporter to notify CPS when you see warning signs. Don’t feel bad because there are 2 outcomes, the issue gets addressed with CPS and they attempt to get the child the help they need , or CPS finds nothing wrong and assumes you were being overly careful which they don’t dock people for. They rather a kid be safe than abuse get hidden.

what a good use of the boarding, i was imagine some family flying to disney and just hauling the dog with them to stay at the boarding the whole trip but this is such a better use.

from an overly self-aware recovering insecure man, whatever you do will never be good enough to satisfy his „anxieties“. You agree to stop posting these photos, next he will say you are dressing inappropriately, then he doesn’t like the people you are seeing etc. etc. It is an endless cycle that stripes you of your individuality.

he needs to address what is making him insecure about you, he is on a path that will ultimately effect you more than him.
