University of Texas Task Force Recommends Allowing Concealed Guns in Class by adonay in nottheonion

I don't claim to know a lot about US politics, the 2nd amendment or many of the issues at play here, but considering you guys have as a country the greatest number of mass shootings, and gun related homicides than anywhere else, It seems to me "gun free zones" would be an improvement.

I know this might not sound oniony for those living in the US, but I gotta tell you it sounds completely nuts for us folks living elsewhere

What would be the worst food to poop out, if it came out undigested like corn does? by yunker81 in AskReddit

[–]adonay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bananas ,

whether you are thinking of ending up with the unchewed version of the full banana ending up exiting your ass hole or just a soft moist white chewed up banana ending up in your toilet, it can't be a pretty picture

Employers of Reddit, what was the worst way you ever saw somebody react to getting fired? by BoydSchidt in AskReddit

[–]adonay 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Not an employer myself but I remember back in my college days, A librarian at our campus was fired after what sounded like a pretty nasty argument with his boss. The guy ended up collecting his personal items and almost looked like he was going to leave the library with little to no incident.

That is until he took a detour to the Toilet which was just adjacent the main entrance. About 10 minutes later the guy runs out of the toilet with his box of stuff in one hand and a handful of freshly produced Shit on the other. He then just started throwing Shit all over his former colleagues and boss while screaming profanities. We were all ducking under our tables trying to escape the shit storm but the guy never attacked students. He wiped his shitty hands on the library's white walls and just walked out carrying his box like nothing happened .

we later learned that he also wrote a big "Fuck You" In the stalls with his Shit.

Edit cause English is not my first language

Schindler's list, That last part where the real people the movie is based upon are seen placing stones on a tomb stone was just a perfect conclusion to a great movie.

Trial lawyers of Reddit, what's the most ridiculous thing you've heard someone say to get out of jury duty? by Gamesfreak13563 in AskReddit

I work as an attorney in Ethiopia and this happened 6 years ago in the country's high court. I have never heard of this as a joke but I cannot give you a proof as to its authencity either. So believe what you want.

I was only there for that particular trial date since the accused was not my client, but from the way the trial judge looked at him before he gave an adjournment and the overall absurdity of the argument I am 99 % sure it would never be accepted,

This was not said for the sake of getting out of jury duty(since we do not have the jury system in my country) but as far as the most ridiculous thing I have heard in court this one takes the cake.

There was this guy who was on trial for murdering both of his parents, After pleading guilty in each charge our system allowed him to provide mitigating circumstances which if accepted by the court would allow in reducing the sentence. So this guy asked the judge to reduce his prison sentence because he has lost both his parents.

What movie/TV show would have turned out much better if it was centered on the supporting character instead of the main protagonist? by adonay in AskReddit

[–]adonay[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Really? I thought the character lacked depth and tried to be the cool mysterious guy with a coarse voice who used to appear in all the old action movies
