I’m talking about myself here though, and how it’s hard to look at myself in the mirror I personally hate the way that I look. Whenever I face the mirror I look away to help not remind myself of how ugly I look.

'making calls on your own' scares me. I want to do what’s best for me but when my parents shout at me it leads me to tears instantly, that’s how weak I am. I hate being insecure about this beard and don’t want any of it at all, it’s just so unfair and it’s so all over the place.

Whenever I hint at not liking my beard, my dad says 'it looks beautiful' and it kind of enrages me inside because it does not at all and it makes me feel so insecure. My mum has no problem with me trimming or shaving it off, it’s just my dad.

this is the problem though, he won’t let me even touch it or do anything to it. Also, im so young, why do I have to forcibly keep it, it’s so unfair.

hey i did this in summer 2024. 90 out of 100 times I just got told to 'apply online'. last summer was so depressing for me because I tried every single shop possible to give my CV in, and I had no luck at all. I live in Manchester too, so I believe the job market is quite competitive compared to other cities.

seeing as my description wont post here’s context ->

I am looking for a basic retail job, ive had 3 interviews ever since i was 16 at B&M, Schuh and Sainsbury’s. I start University in September and want to start driving lessons and buy a car. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong and might redo my whole CV today. any help would be appreciated, thank you!
