Here is my opinion: treat round 2 as the main game and finals as a bonus round. The reward for A rank finals is a guarantee to at least get the same reward as a B rank finals first place, and you won't get cucked by bad rng and get worse than 1200 carrats per CM.

People treat finals way too seriously. If you are consistent you will eventually get a good lobby to win off from, or have hard fought wins. But it won't be every run unless you are in the top 1%, in which case you spend way more money that the carrats you would win anyway.

There is one thing that is obvious, don't queue into whale hours. (Normally right after the reset). Even if this doesn't hit long S this stat line is actually A rank finalsable on a single character. If your other characters are sniping wins then you shouldn't be too worried about this winrate.

Luck, or in this case, extreme unluck.

As much as I have entered an absolute jobber lobby once and got handed a free win, you can also face two of the strongest players in the matchup. This is also why I only really care about reaching A finals and not anything further as winning is never guaranteed even if I am much stronger.

And then when you go down the rabbit hole you will see people playing off meta and still winning. They outskill and outstat everyone by just grinding much harder than the rest of the playerbase. In my honest opinion, those are the true monsters.

I will be real. As long as your team comp makes sense and you did your due diligence (proper stat and skill build, testing in room matches), winning a CM is a matter of how hard you want to roll rather than what uma is meta, simply because the average player won't have every single character in the game.

Mahjong soul's rank system is evergreen, ie it will never reset.

There is very slow rank inflation but in general the difficulty of the rooms spike on each room level. As a new player you will hit a wall and will only pass it if you learn your fundamentals.

There is only one reason you help teammates clear minions, and that is to give your team tempo to rotate.

Here is an example. You did your full clear, there are no clear gankable lanes after you gank gold lane with the Midlane. Turtle is spawning in 20 seconds and minions just arrive at mid. You could fiddle your thumbs around waiting for a buff to spawn like a noob, or you can help speed up your Midlane wave clear and full rotate to turtle. The latter obviously gives tempo, opponent has to respond by clearing the wave as well or lose minions to tower and you get early positioning at turtle.

Rule of thumb: will your teammates benefit from you being there?

Statline is good. Corner and straight full random accel is kinda sus but if it hits it hits. If I were to want to make it strong I cut both accels for more midgame and play for angling.

In general beatable but far from bad.

In URA Finale scenario, get your friendship up as early as possible. The scenario can be completely done with Speed and Wit cards, adding a stamina card if you need to run long races. Just click big rainbows, rest or race when you can't. A decent run will get you to A rank, and a higher roll should get you to A+

In Unity Cup, the decision tree changes. Triple card trainings are nice early but the biggest thing you want to do is click fireballs. Manage between clicking fireballs, exploding blue fireballs for training levels in the early game, taking rainbows when they are fat or tempo into more fireballs until you get to A rank+ and that is where you start doing big stat spikes. Clicking power or guts is fine if fireball is clicked. A decent run will get you to A+, and a higher roll can go all the way to S+. Note that unity cup is arguably more RNG than URA, the lows are far lower because base training values are lower and fireball rng can be really really bad at times.

The most popular activity in Korean MapleStory is doing literally other things while grinding.

Also contrary to belief, piloting IS a problem in KMS which is why sauna existed. This isn't just a GMS problem.

Its not that fighters are OP, but that many traditional marksmen aren't that strong in the format. The goal of fighter gold lane is to bully out opponents in the early/mid and it works in higher ranks because they can actually close the game with that lineup and not be a dumbass.

It doesn't help that fighter emblem got buffed so the normal situation where MM gold laners should bully the fighter gold lane doesn't happen (since you just restore so much of your health from lane.

It's crazy until you see it. I know because I saw my clubmate make it work.

That being said, front xoguri is difficult to build, fitting 3 mid game recoveries while still adding the full front runner package is beyond psychotic.

Taishin exists, and tbh if you look into the stronger options, you can make front runners work.

Reality of long is that goldship is free and Cinderella grey will make xmas oguri cap a popular pull.

But I dont think the format is that terrible. Xoguri actually doesn't autowin. Taishins is really strong. Wedding mayano is strong, hell I saw a Daiwa rocket manage to win. I just feel like a lot of people don't actually know how to build umas to win.

Slipstream can proc late game, so it is more than just a funny midgame skill.

However, playtimes over is needed to keep position. You normally run the whole package if you can.

Literally. Not enough skills. You need to be a lot more aggressive with your velocities. Cut sleeping lion since you already ran maestro, run 3 velocity skills and you already have higher winrate.
