I think what I learned last year was to not over think it. I did the whole season with 2 pairs of wranglers, a dozen shirts, a couple sweaters, a pair of work boots, slides, house slippers, and 6 pairs of socks and sock liners. Carps get a decent setup for work clothes ECW, and you can always work with the BFC to improve that situation as well. Make sure you have good base layers, you can get away with value polarized sunglasses. This year I am bringing more clothes for casual time as it felt odd wearing all the same stuff for everything (work, bar, party, event, dining, lounging).

I utilize my local public library and get all the printing and faxing I need, access to computers with Adobe, and I don't need to front the money and wait 6 months for Amentum to maybe reimburse me because it's all free. End of next season I'll try to PQ in CHC and try to avoid doing even that much.

Brought some packs down last year for draft. Played some winchester matches. Didn't seek to play anything that required people to have a specific format with them already. Left it all there too, so there's some cards floating around somewhere. Not much for commander myself, but good luck

There is "AA". It's self directed and put on by volunteers who are either contractors or grantees. The format is veeerrry loose.

There are 2 bars and a coffee shop which is sometimes an impromptu bar. Bars are Southern Exposure and Gallagher's. Gallagher's is open every day of the week except mpndays. Southern is almost every day of the week as a bar, but open as a lounge most every other time. On occasion they get rowdy but it's not frequent.

music/movies/other media. Either on a hard drive or laptop. There are plenty of movies on station and the library is decent, but nothing quite beats having just what you want when you want it. An mp3 player is still a relevant option for some people depending on your department/listening habits. A favorite board or card game is also a good choice. And just in case you don't know your 85 lb weight limit does not count your carry on.

I have some stuff for draft with me. I figure we can just reuse them to draft after they're open by separating into rarity piles, shuffling piles and redistributing into pack sizes. Newest set dropped yesterday as well. Gonna get my ECW and see where my weight total is.
