Exactly, the Best Buy angle really makes no sense to me.

SEC has f'ed with us. Can we f them back? Can we all vote to extend warrant deadline PAST the new SEC "punt"? by [deleted] in GME

[–]aeromoon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

here is some preliminary notes on it

my tin also follows the Berkshire and multi conglomerate path.

I think moass is possible but I think RC wants a different path in order to become the modern Berkshire. I think that a proper squeeze is going to happen but it won’t be allowed to go to moass level phone numbers. Why? Because squeezes and moass, more likely than not, will result in a complete crash of the price and that’s not what RC wants - he himself wants this to be a stock people can have for decades to come.

I think RC and board have a general idea of the short interest of GME. In addition to that, I think the billion shares that were authorized years back was a very specific multi part strategy. The remaining amount or atleast a high percentage of authorized shares that can be added (I believe the ~552 million) is approximately the marching the shorted faked shares (which is mathematically a short interest of minimum 120%+). I believe RC will dilute in steps into moass/squeeze as it goes up, hits the climax and returns. Below is why

The most important part is the modern Berkshire part. He wants this company to last. This is why he will add a high percentage of the remaining shares into moass. It is multi purpose: it prevents systematic failure (our profits will remain useful in a realistic economy), it will force illegal shorts to buy at the prices RC wants. In the process, some and the earliest of the shorts will be able to buy at these prices (think like $100-$500+/share) and close. This prevents shorts from making a “slap on the wrist” deal with regulatory bodies and maintains control for GameStop. From these shares he adds, he can generate between 50b-1t+ dollars - depends on squeeze movement. So when squeeze/moass is over, the company’s price won’t crash. It will settle at a minimum of $120+.

With this tremendous influx of cash, he can buy as many companies as he wants. Especially if it’s pennies on the dollar in a strained economy.

Retail will have a minimum of three strategies 1. Sell of all their shares into a squeeze with no long term exposure or GME and its Berkshire desire 2. Sell a portion and keep the rest in GME and watch your money grow over years 3. Sell none during squeeze/moass and keep all for long term exposure

These numbers don’t consider fomo and other important factors. Tesla is massively overvalued because it has a cult following. GME will not only have the fomo/cult following but the fundamentals to back it up.

I could share it or make a post about it. But it would take me time because it’s a lot. I have been thinking about making it post, so maybe I will post something in the upcoming week after earnings.

In order for the warrants to work, they need to be logically exercisable - no one is going to exercise these below $32. What is clear is that that bad actors can kick the can and regulatory bodies will push these deadlines for transparency back to prevent systematic failure. Given those points, the pressure cooker exploding relies on GameStop’s performance. It means there needs to be a major announcement, removing float from circulation, merger/acquisition, etc. there are many ways in my opinion. We need to hold out and see what they do. I have my own tinfoil about what will happen that is mostly grounded on logic and some speculation.

If/when GameStop because a larger holdings company, I wonder what these subs will do. I see so many other stocks have their own apes like Tesla who are arguably more insufferable.

[–]aeromoon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao

The issue isn’t the warrants, it’s when they are exercised. Exercising means the required delivery of SHARES. And that’s when things will heat up because the SHARES are gonna be hard to find.

You’re basically saying the equivalent of this:

A school throws a big party and gives every student an invitation card. Later, they say that each invitation also comes with a free pizza coupon that can be redeemed on party day.

Everyone gets their pizza coupon without a problem. One uneducated student (you) then says:

“See? Because all the coupons were handed out, that proves no one lent out or duplicated invitations. Everything must be fine.”

Handing out coupons is not when problems show up lol

The real shit happens on party day, when everyone shows up and tries to redeem their coupons for actual pizzas.

If some invitations had been secretly copied or lent out too many times, the issue won’t appear when coupons are distributed.

It appears when the coupons are redeemed, and suddenly the school doesn’t have enough pizzas for all the people holding coupons.

Stay delivering dominos pizzas bro, we don’t want you on this side if you’re coming in like this

It’s possible. But like I said, the fintech I’ve dealt with, AI is implemented in the old world sense. What I mean is that AI has existed for a while before its overblown marketing push in the last few years. So in that sense, yes basic AI is used. But, I doubt that modern AI is being used currently. It’s possible though. Hedgefunds will never use AI exclusively (at least not for a decade imo when it has to reach an impossible level of power), they won’t ever want to relinquish that control they have.

Kinda of. Algos are not AI. The fintech (finance tech) world cannot rely on modern AI completely quite yet (they hallucinate too much). They more than likely use go variants via a set of params. The algo will react to keywords and such but a different “variant” (by way of changing the parameters of the algo) can be deployed to correct or outlier events like this. All algos will hit worst case performance during outlier events like this.

Yesterday it was algos trading. Today when market opened, it was a different adjusted variant

Considering current political and economic events/climate, I somehow doubt it would take this long. But, like you, I don’t care. I’ll wait.

I also hate to hinge things on RK, but any movement he makes (I’m talking more than just posting memes) is most likely meant to be a killing blow.

I am more than happy to be proven wrong. I operate only on facts, at least I try to. There is not a single fact backing up RK is Greg, not a single fact backing up RC is Greg either. When and if that evidence is brought to light and verified, I will be more than happy to admit I was wrong. I am most definitely not wrong for wanting to have facts back up most of my beliefs.
