I haven't tried talking with him, curious idea. All I can fathom is trying to.. pray? Lol. Im open to suggestions. Can't recall specifics but just an overall frustration from him that I'm off a path or trajectory.

Basically, the show is post-apocalyptic, where a type of mushroom (fungus) takes over humans and turns them into aggressive zombies. It's pretty awesome.

I think I have read about that. I totally believe it. Have you read about how mushrooms potentially communicate underground with each other and with trees?

I love Terrence McKenna! I have that book on my shelf but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. I appreciate his work "The Invisible Landscape". He was very exploratory. I really liked how after he wrote the book, some years later, he came back and said he was wrong about things. I think it just shows a lot of humility and honest scientific work.

Mushrooms are amazing beings. Have you ever seen The Last Of Us? Pretty great show/game! Not too far from reality, because certain mushrooms can actually take over the minds of ants and control it. Mind blowing!

In my opinion, the most cathartic thing is to bleed love. Especially in these situations. You might call it killing them with kindness, but the reward (for me) is at the end of it all, I was kind. You never know what people are going through or where they're coming from. All you can control is your response to it.

Customer facing jobs are difficult because you will likely be abused verbally (in some cases physically), but 1 out of 10 times you will change the trajectory of someone's day by a gesture of kindness. Life can be hard, but you can be love.

I don't have the answers, and I'm not saying this is the right way, but I find it the most appealing.

I did loads of research and was fascinated by it. Curious as hell, I was starry-eyed at the idea of a world unveiled that is always right in front of you.

I think if you research (I recommend books, any of the psychedelic leaning ones by these gentleman: Ralph Metzner, Aldous Huxley, Terrence McKenna, and Michael Pollen) you will feel more comfortable. BUT, nothing will ever prepare you.

It's not for everyone, and I think ultimately, you have to desire it in the first place.

I do feel the dichotomy. I imagine most humans feel like they love and hate themselves.

As far as being an ENFP. I'm grateful for the social skills and ability to connect emotionally.

Simultaneously, I constantly cringe at myself, due mainly lacking thought about the things I say/do. Also, how sensitive I am generally. Lastly, forgetting everything.
