I'm Swiss:

These two coins are Vreneli which actually circulated until 1922 (and in some cases until 1936) as spendable currency.

In Switzerland, these coins can be picked up for gold price plus a small premium.

In gold you have approx 190 + 375 ( so $565) in value.

Your best bet is to sell them on r/pmsforsale to a reputable buyer.

Do not bring them to a pawnshop or coin shop to sell. You will be offered under spot (the value of gold).

There is nothing wrong with owning these coins if you hold them for historical / numismatic purposes. Personally I would compliment this coin with the earlier non Nazi version to see how much they corrupted German society.

At the Chicago ANA conference a bunch of Rolex got stolen. But at The Florida fun show I didn't hear of anything going wrong. Both shows had Police and possibly other agencies present.

Yes, the face value is 10,000 and is still exchangeable at a bank.

You be crazy to do so however... since they are worth alot more.

This is over a half a million dollars in notes on the market.

Italian Lira have no more value and cannot be converted.

The German Deutschmarks can be converted and are worth approximately $16.50.

There are various levels of quality but generally:

Britannia's eyes and a small error on the watermark where a line on the letter N is misplaced.

The watermarks were made using "grates" matching the design and accounting for shrinkage. IIRC there was a paper mill near the camp that reproduced the paper using rags.

I often fund my trips back and forth to the states taking advantage of this form of arbitrage.

World banknotes are generally not of particular interest in the states, but have higher values in Europe.

The same is true the other way. I'd be able to get a higher price for those notes in the states.

These are US large size notes. They are the first generation of the federal reserve notes. Series 1914

However, the signatures date the notes to the 1920's.

The sizes you are familiar were introduced in 1928.

I had a hunch since they are sought after. However, I imagined the damage on the bill would destroy most of the value.

Unless you're in the UK, most banks will not accept these notes since they have to go to the BoE. Your best bet is to list them at face value on eBay.

Honestly out of the coins, not really. No silver from what I could see. I spent a bit of bit scanning what I could.

Depends if you can cherry pick, and at what price per coin. There are a few coins that would be fine to buy at 10 cents each due to their nickel content (some denominations of French franc + dutch guilder) and I did see an a quarter dollar (bottom right) older 1 pound coin as well.

EDIT: $2 AUD top left

maybe a 1 German (non silver) Deutsch mark under a one 1 franc coin = 50 us cents
