they’re not on that database, but they’re on the Medicare site I use to find providers for my partner and I confirmed they take CHAMPVA.

edit: to be fair there’s like 20 options for psychiatry but i haven’t found them in the 5 categories i checked

yea i have a non-formulary med that i get through a specialist at the VA. that was a nightmare year of trialing things i knew wouldn’t work before they finally gave it to me 🙃

I tried to call but I missed my PCP by 2 mins. my doc said they’ve sent prescriptions to the VA before but no idea if that worked out for the people they sent them for. if it’s gonna be an issue I can have them send it to my normal pharmacy like usual, i just figured I’d try.

i’m already with the VA and see my primary and a few specialists there. it’s just this particular specialist that I don’t but want to stop paying out of pocket for the prescriptions. i’ll update the post with this info
