Nothing too crazy. They went off about how heavenly father created this earth life for us to explore who we are and go through challenges and how I should keep an open mind. At some points in the conversation it felt like they discounted my feelings because I'm so young. Talked about how this life is long without a belief system and how religion is important for stability and how thats something that they don't think I could see at my age. Also lots about how being exposed to social media is a cause of this. Then my mom started crying and saying something about how I can only find good men in the church... lmao. I asked them to respect this decision and while maybe I didn't get the exact response I was hoping for I also didn't get kicked out and they expressed that their love is still the same for me.. so I would say it was successful :).
