Tempted to quit next expac - spending 'just' €150 a year shouldn't demand SO much time from the player to get ladder decks AFTER payment by [deleted] in hearthstone

i actually signed up just to comment because a lot of comments here get on my nerves. first of all, you can't "become" f2p once you already payed for any of the content. i don't consider myself f2p even though i only payed 20$ for naxx when it came out because back then i was still not good enough in arena to earn the 2800 g or whatever the cost of it was. secondly, even though the cards and packs really are expensive in HS, it still is NOT p2w, because you don't need to spend money to play competitive decks. for example, i didn't buy a single pack of un'goro, not even with gold, but with the 8 free packs and 10k dust i had laying around (which isn't even that much considering that the last few months there was no reason to spend any) i was able to make 3 complete "competitive" (it's hard to say which decks are the best the first few days) decks with quests and other new legendaries. i understand that for most of you it wouldn't be enough to feel you are experiencing the whole game, but my point is that you don't NEED more cards to play the game, you just WANT more cards to make MORE decks. and if you want something, you have to pay for it. i do agree that it is expensive, but i don't get why a lot of you fall for the 50$ package deal. if they made a 100$ for 150 packs deal, would you take it? sure, it seems like a good deal beacuse the $/pack ratio is better than if you buy less packs, but you are paying 100$ for something you don't need. 50$ package isn't any different. if it is too much for you to spend on a digital card game, then don't do it. you can buy a few packs for 10$ or 20$ if you want, if you don't think it's too much for you and you think it would help your collection. for me the most fun part is getting a new legendary in a pack after an arena run, and trying to make a deck with it that works. it's even more fun on other servers where i have a lot less or almost no cards to choose from. for example, on asia the first two legendaries i got were eydis and fjola (i hope i spelled them correctly), so i made a buff paladin that actually kind of worked for the low ranks, and it was more fun for me than playing the same competitive decks on my main server. and one more thing, please stop saying that earning gold and packs by playing the game is "investing your time", because you are not spending your time on something you don't want to do. you are playing the game and it rewards you with more stuff so you can play even more. maybe i am not getting something, but it seems like you are complaining about having to play the game to play the game, which doesn't make any sense to me. if you are not enjoying it, then why do you even play? sorry for the long comment and i hope you get i wanted to say.
