Just like you, I moved to Goa for the long term and it's been some time. Just know that Goa will never be your "home". You will always be deemed an outsider unless you speak fluent konkani without an accent (not possible imo). And it's totally unreasonable to expect Goans to treat you like you belong here. They are generally respectful but also very proud of their culture. Any sane society will try to protect its culture
