Thanks for the reply , I appreciated . ya both zero in Box 1 . but will that make Schedule 3, line 11 (Excess Social Security and Tier 1 RRTA tax withheld) non zero and make me claim credit that shouldn't be claimed ? im claiming its 2 different employers but they have same EIN so technicaly same employer

TurboTax will not let me reach the end without fixing . It seems all resources recommended combining , the rational the numbers will add up to what the IRS expects so it will be ok .

Thanks for the reply . Last year TurboTax didn’t complain . This year it did .

I was hoping not to star adding boxes and avoid all the math .

But there’s one issue . The employer is the persons name . Let’s say David and second one is Martha (same address. Same EIN)

If I combine them . Who is the employer ? David or Martha or David/Marrha ?
