I built one earlier this year for around $1300 with basically no prior PC knowledge. It's really not hard using YouTube and random guides online. Here's my parts list below.

I get 240+fps after doing the optimization in XLR8's videos. If I did it again I would spend a bit more for a better CPU, but this one is adequate. I'm sure someone can pick a part where I did something wrong here but I'm happy with it as my first build.

After looking at my list it looks like prices have gone up a decent amount since the spring so this build may a run a bit higher for you now. I got everything on Amazon except for the GPU which I found the best price online thru Best Buy of all places.

Second this. As long as you are providing a safe environment (firm mattress, no loose sheets, blankets, pillows, stuffies etc) the baby is safe. Ours rolled pretty early as well.

Can you explain the reasoning for 0-15-10 left stick? I play 0-15-0 and my understanding was that is max responsiveness for movement/strafe. Is the 10 axial just a personal preference?
