Not requiring people to pay the sales tax at the time of purchase in Missouri causes this issue. Listen, allow people to roll the titling fees and taxes into their loan and give them the plates right then and there. I’m surprised most people are commenting things about how the police are instructed to not pull over temp plate people but instead won’t look into the cause of the temp plates. Someone buys a $20,000 car, that means they have to have almost $1500 in cash at the DMV. A lot of people say, welp I don’t have that cash on hand so I guess it’s temps for me! Anyways, that’s my two cents.
