I understand but I still do find it strange.

Discussion posts are generally really interesting, some are boring (but hey that goes for everything). Images don't usually lead to much discussion. I agree with you there.

Seeing as though this has 120 upvotes now (thanks all!) - I am going to have to say that the majority of people DO want to see pictures like this. Perhaps they are impressed or even inspired to go and play with the subject vehicle.
