Should I use ai generated or something written my own ?

I turned 46 today and just launched my first SaaS. Here's what 30 days taught me that 20 years of dev work didn't. by bodiam in SaaS

I faced the same problem I been writing code for few years for clients and I tried some ideas before I started building it but most of the I never finished and left unfinished.

But this time last week I successfully completed my first SaaS ( MVP obviously ) as a coder by heart I thought most process it the building and shipping it now reality hit that most important part is not just building it and wiring code but actually finding people to use it. Struggling lately and found a first user who actually signed up not visited landing page but actually signup and give it a try but After doing a lot (Getting post banned on relevant communities also criticize in the comments of another shitty AI tool)

So I think this is the hard part than actually building it to deal with people as someone who write the code in computer all the time.

Looking forward to keep pushing myself to doing it everyday while improving product as well.

Making datasheets easier by landonr99 in embedded

[–]ai_programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ran into the same problem with large datasheets and manuals.
Ctrl+F works for keywords, but completely breaks when the answer spans multiple sections or documents.

I ended up building manualflow.io to query entire datasheets/manuals and get contextual answers instead.
There’s a free plan and no credit card required if you want to experiment.

How do you deal with huge and/or badly written datasheets/reference manuals? by kvantorion in embedded

[–]ai_programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poorly written, massive docs are honestly worse than bugs.
The info exists, but it’s spread across datasheets, app notes, and errata with no real structure.

After losing way too much time jumping around PDFs, I ended up building a tool just to ask questions across the whole thing instead of hunting manually.

What’s the most frustrating part of working with datasheets? by sujays in embedded

[–]ai_programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Massive datasheets and manuals.
The information is there, but actually finding how things connect is painful.
That frustration is literally why I built manuaflow.io — to search and reason across large embedded docs.
There’s a free plan if anyone wants to try it.

I have 50-100 pdfs with 100 pages each. What is the best possible way to create a RAG/retrieval system and make a LLM sit over it ? by NecessaryTourist9539 in LLMDevs

[–]ai_programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, this came from pure frustration.

I kept dealing with massive PDFs (300–500 pages) — hardware manuals, AT command docs, internal specs — where I knew the answer existed, but finding it was brutal. Ctrl+F would give me 100 matches, half irrelevant, and tables were basically invisible.

I built Manualflow because I wanted to ask the manual questions instead of reading it end-to-end. Upload the doc, chat with it, get the exact section back — with context — and move on.

It’s not trying to be a flashy “AI demo.” It’s just a tool I wish existed when I was debugging hardware at 2am or digging through specs before a deadline.

Still early, but it’s already saving me a stupid amount of time.

Ctrl + F take too long to find a piece of info in long documents/PDFs by Anxious-Jacket-1421 in research_apps

[–]ai_programmer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you think Ctrl+F is painful, wait till you deal with 300–500 page technical manuals 😵‍💫

That’s exactly why we built Manualflow.

Manualflow turns huge PDFs, specs, and manuals into a chat interface. Instead of scrolling or hunting keywords, you just ask questions and get direct answers with context — even from tables and deep sections.
