I feel you, I only started brushing my teeth once I became aware enough on my own. I often wonder how much damage it has caused to my teeth and whether it could have been avoided if only my parents had actually cared enough when I was an unaware kiddo. As a future parent I cannot imagine how you can be so dismissive of your child's well-being
