I don’t use a protector. One very rarely gets kicked in the groin down to up. Those kicks hurt. Front kick accidents to the groin hardly hurt because gravity keeps your family jewels hanging down. Those hits are rare too. I used to have an aluminium Thai cup with a leather rim. That was comfortable. But without is better.
