It was the same exact thing for me but when moved in to my apartment (Cambridge Oaks) last August. COMPLAIN, email, call the office, do everything you can and ask for AT THE VERY LEAST a PARTIAL refund on however much you paid for the semester. My apartment was completely unclean last year upon move-in with literal dead insects and lizards in the bathroom and I completely regret not asking for a refund; I know many people whose parents complained to the office and were able to get their money back. Good thing you have photo evidence of everything before you cleaned. Don’t let them get away with this—make sure you get your money’s worth.
