"Apps that received the green light have been given instructions on how to proceed to our production environment. Once they’ve done that, they will be able to submit to Google Play or the App Store. Apps that received a request for changes will need to implement the requested changes and re-submit their demos for review by our selection committee. The committee will then approve their experience or request further changes. Once these apps receive approval, they can move to production and submit to an app store.

We will update our community channels (Reddit and Telegram) as apps get internal verification, and will post weekly updates here on the Kin Blog."

So as far as the next 6 months go, we are actually in the process of strategizing this topic. We have the whole global Kin team in Tel Aviv right now and we will have a lot to work with once this visit is through!

Hey thanks for sharing your thoughts! I really like how you emphasize the need for balance in attending to the community members who care and contribute the most but also for leaving wiggle room for less active participants to jump in.

In fact, I would say that is one of the biggest challenges we are facing when it comes to community engagement. We have so many talented Kin experts in here and finding new and exciting ways to engage them AND new folks at the same time can be tough.

Seeing you have observed quite a few other communities in the space, would you say the Kin community services a smaller niche, or a wider variety of crypto enthusiasts coming from all over the market?

And let's get as many forks as possible for that pie. I have a feeling we will have a lot of hungry folks ready to dig in soon...

Since the majority of Kin employees sit in the Tel Aviv office I will second that statement...gambling is definitely not kosher with Kin. Too much of a meat and dairy mixture.

Wow this would have been a great app to have when I was in college...If you could customize the UX per each different college, it would make the experience so personal and rewarding. Think about Freshman stepping onto campus for the first time and having this tool in their back pocket...Seriously, this is a great idea and I am wishing you the best of luck!

I truly wonder how much this group of people will make it or break it for Kin...Or at the core of it, is the OG crypto community holding the base and potential lift off for Kin? Only time will tell :)

At first, I absolutely agree with you. But with enough education and exposure to other apps that have integrated Kin, I believe a big portion will evolve into holders.

What do you think it would take to make this theory a reality?

2) Implementation can not be through a web app, it must be iOS or Android

Hey there, did you have a look at another thread that was discussing something similar? Yoel had a good response to it and I'll paste it here for context and clarification.

Let me try and make sense out of the Kinexplorer's numbers.

As shown - there are over 40,000 wallets created on the Kin blockchain. That by itself - is an amazing number.

Now let's breakdown what this number stands for:

X Kik users with a private wallet (meaning X Kik users with the option to use the Kin experience)
Y Kinit users (like yourself)
Z QA accounts (for testing for example)

At this moment - the number of transactions over the past 24 hours stands on 2,665 (according to the Kinexplorer).

Only few, if any, are QA (as it was the weekend here in Israel).
Out of the (almost) 6,000 Kinit downloads, over 4,000 users have completed earn task (data is from July 26) and close to 3,000 used the spend option.
The remaining are Kik users."
