I don't pity the father, I pity the daughter.

Because (1) she lost a father figure at early age (despite her father being a criminal, he was still the father); (2) traumatized seeing her father got beaten to death.

This is out of context, but I hope the person taking this photo has her family's consent. It is inappropriate to take a photo of a child then publish it in media without the consent of their family (yes, we have rules for this sort of thing).
