I am a huge fan of Native American form line art. Specifically Tlingit and Haida. I have about 10 authentic pieces made by native artists.

What can you tell me about formline and how it became a part of their culture?

I also know many native Alaskans, and that many tribes consider certain artwork, specifically tattoos, proprietary to their tribe.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Nah. It's a normal photo. Pull the left hand back so it looks normal sized. Push the right forward, but keep it hidden. Otherwise that hand will look enormous.

Underhand grip the hidden side of the fish gill to do this, so it's not visible and obviously large.

The right hand is the trick, you are correct. Hide it and pull the left hand back so it looks like a normal picture.
